Southern Belle (Hetalia CSA OC)

Description

My first attempt at doing a piece completely digitally went a LOT better than I expected it to...I think I might be converted XD

This is my OC for the southern United States from my fanfic Legacy. The outfit is from the colonial period, or at least it was supposed to be. I'm not entirely sure if the hat is accurate, but it may be close enough.

I feel that this may be a good time to defend my decision to make the South female. Mostly, I like the dichotomy of having the US be both masculine and female. It was also partially due to the fact that almost all of the original Southern states sound like feminine names (Georgia, Virginia, N. and S. Carolina). Lastly, I think the South as a whole acts like a stereotypical Country Girl, it can be sweet and demure and welcoming, but it can also kick ass.

My reasons for making the South a separate country at all are thus: The Southern United states act like their own psedo-country. But, more importantly, the CSA was an independent country for a period of time.

CSA (aka Annabelle Jones) is my character and she is part of my story "Legacy" which can be read here: [link]

cool! I've got an OC too.... if you cant tell by my name and icon. The digital doesn't take long to get used to. I just did my ID two months ago and want to make another one already because it looks like crap compared to my newer stuff. I chose to make my OC a girl because the southern states were very loyalist ...so....when you think about it.... the youngest and only girl can very easily become Britain's favorite.....especially with the sweet tea thing.
