The Child of two Empires (APH Mexico OC)

If you were wondering how someone like France or Spain could fall so utterly for Mexico, this may explain it.
This is the first time I have drawn him full body, and I must say that I really love how it turned out. I think I am really hooked on this darker version of shading. The sad part is that I still can't figure out how to shade black stuff...which is a problem when almost all your OCs are Latin American.
Anyway, this uniform is supposed to be about a year into the war of independence. If you have read my fanfiction, then you know that this is about the time of the most recent chapter. I did try to find references, but it was hard. I used several different ones to get this pieced together.
